The Game-Player's Advantage!
The following is a short list of advantages that gamers have over non-gamers, when it comes to achieving success in the real world. Gamers have often failed to utilize these advantages in the past; however, Play2wealth.com was created to reveal them! [Also, see lessons!]
Gamers are willing to get help!
Gamers are often willing to get help from strategy guides, cheat codes, and other players to learn how to get through a challenging game, or level, while many non-gamers may try to learn everything on their own. This is why many people wind up either quitting or never even beginning to try new things. Gamers, however, can use their networking skills to help them to succeed. And by using these various means of help, gamers can save time and money, and avoid an overload of frustration! This is the ultimate game-player's advantage!
Gamers are creative problem solvers!
While playing games, gamers automatically know to look for patterns and other clues to help them succeed. And, our minds automatically continue to brainstorm and trouble-shoot, even after we have stopped playing, as we try to solve the puzzles or unlock the secrets to defeating the opponent/problem. I wouldn't say that non-gamers can't be creative or solve problems, but as gamers, we constantly put ourselves into all kinds of unusual situations, by choice!
Gamers gain experience through games!
By playing games, gamers actively participate in the action and truly experience learning in a fun, exciting way. Where as, by reading or observing alone, people may be able to learn, in general, people learn and remember better by doing. So, because in game-playing, we actively participate in the action, gamers have a learning advantage over non-gamers. And, although the experience received via playing games is not real-life experience, it is still much needed experience. (Airline pilots have to go through flight simulation training, don't they?) In this same manner, gamers can go through a business and/or investment simulation/training and learn how to success before ever attempting to move into real-world wealth-building.
Gamers get their monies worth!
Gamers are money-wise consumers who get more "bang for the buck" from their entertainment purchases than do most non-gamers. Where as, a non-gamer may buy a movie on DVD for $20 and watch it a few times for about 6 hours worth of entertainment, a gamer can get 100's (hundreds) of hours of game-playing action from a $20 game purchase. And, by experiencing 100's (hundreds) of hours of game-play in the Wealth-Building Game Genre, a gamer can Genuinely, Automatically Master the Essential Skills necessary for success in the real world. A non-gamer may only play these games a couple of times, and then do what they are accustomed to doing with their favorite movies; put them up on a shelf to collect dust for a few years!
Gamers enjoy playing games, not just finishing them!
Gamers are used to starting small and as they learn they gradually build their way up to becoming more and more powerful. While many people may save up for years and then risk it all, trying to become an overnight sensation in the business or investment world, (all the while, not even knowing what they are doing,) gamers can use their game-player's advantage here. Since it takes knowledge and experience, sometimes through trial-and-error and sometimes through help from others, to succeed in business or investing, therefore, gamers can start out small, enjoy learning the game, and not get caught up in only seeking the final result!
Gamers have staying power.
As gamers, we are use to facing challenges on a regular basis as we play games; and often enough, must restart a game or game level from a previous save point. So, in the same way, by using low-risk (small monetary risk) ideas, and with help from others, we can also learn from our mistakes in real-life and become more and more powerful, in financial knowledge and know-how, over time. The non-gamer may start big, fail big, quit, and then blame his/her losses on everything other than his/her own lack of knowledge and/or skill.
The essence of the game-player's advantage!
In reality, I believe that the game-player's advantage comprises three main aspects: his/her willingness to play, which gets him/her into the game; his/her game-learnt trouble-shooting/problem-solving skill, which keeps him/her in the game; and, his/her ability to seek help, which saves him/her time and frustration, and keeps him/her from giving up playing the game!
